Trust boundary
Start with less access.
The default input is a shareable list of MCP servers or agent tools. Deeper evidence is optional and requires explicit approval.
What you can provide
- Default: approved tool names.
- Optional: redacted configuration with secrets and internal addresses removed.
- Optional: reviewed, redacted scanner output produced inside your environment.
- Optional: a specifically authorized read-only source subset.
What not to send
- Passwords, tokens, API keys, or connection strings.
- Internal addresses or material you are not authorized to share.
- Production access or permission to run the tools under review.
- Source code unless a specific read-only scope is approved.
What success records
Feedback is not the finish line.
A positive comment is useful, but the pilot is designed to capture operational and purchasing evidence.
The actual tools reviewed and the material boundary used.
Unclear identity, source, version, coverage, or ownership.
Confirmed false positives and important missed context.
A real approval, rejection, remediation, monitoring, or investigation action.
Whether the evidence is used again after a relevant change.
Willingness to pay, the internal owner, and required prerequisites.
What the pilot can establish
- What public evidence exists for the agreed inventory.
- What was checked, failed, corrected, or left unmeasured.
- Whether the record supports a real governance decision.
- Whether the outcome is worth repeating, self-hosting, or buying.
What it does not prove
- That a tool is secure, compliant, or approved.
- How the tool behaves in your production environment.
- Complete vulnerability or policy coverage.
- Availability of SSO, RBAC, multi-tenancy, signed audit export, or SIEM integration today.
